Our History

While our history began in 1988, it was in 1990 under Richard Wilson’s guidance that Concorde BGW Group started making waves in the industry. His leadership set the foundation for the innovation and excellence that define us today.

1988

Where It Started

Richard Wilson becomes Director at Colyers Contract Furniture.
In 1990, he re-mortgages his home to buy the company and renames to Concorde Interiors.

2004

That London Guy

Guy Bostock unites with Concorde Interiors and open a new office in London. Concorde London Limited is established.

2008

Welcome To The Team

A new director joins and a new company is born, Concorde BGW Group – which in time will provide Design, Build and Facilities Management projects and achieve a number of industry recognised accreditation.

2013

The First Of Many

Our Design and Build team receive our first award at the Restaurant & Bar Design Awards for the Newman Street Tavern project in London.

2015

Back To Our Roots

Going back to our roots of providing superior furniture, Revivalist was established to designed and manufacture truly original, high-quality furniture.

2018

Mike, Come On Down

Mike Flint-Bush introduced the Facilities Management business concept. In 2019 he then united with Concorde BGW as the Commercial Director.

2020

Specialist Expansion

A Hull and Intend join Concorde BGW, bringing specialist Electrical and Mechanical skills into the group.

2021

Commercial Recognition

We have won Commercial Interior Design Practice of the Year at the Northern Design Awards. It was based on company growth, all our services that set us apart from the competition and how we support staff – from apprentices to new starters.

2022

Making A Spark

By demonstrating high levels of professionalism, service and responsibility to clients, and to our team, InTend wins the Electrical Times, Electrical Contractor of the Year Award.

2022

Supply & Demand

Due to the success of Facilities Management and the high demand of our council and local government clients, Concorde BGW Group expand into offering regeneration frameworks for such clients up and down the M1.

2023

Going Commercial

Concorde’s desire to diversify further included the launch of the commercial division following the successful completion of a number of commercial projects across the country.

2024

Our Fourth Office

Facilities Management team move into our new Nottingham Office, bringing Intend and A Hull under the same roof too.

Client: Full project management and implementation of works across the borough.

  • Maintenance and upgrades across Leicester City Council’s non-domestic properties and domestic housing stock.

Client: Ei Group, one of the largest UK pub chains with a portfolio of over 4000 properties

The Challenge
  • Working at actively tenanted sites with minimal disruption.
  • Providing a broad range of services across a wide service area.
  • Keeping the property portfolio up to current regulation standards.
  • Delivering rapid response reactive maintenance where necessary.
  • A comprehensive reactive and planned maintenance service across the portfolio.
  • Strict adherence to KPIs agreed with the client.

Derwent fm

Project Location: Nottingham, UK
Framework Value: £375,550
Client: Derwent FM, a large organisation primarily managing student accommodation sites across the country.
The Challenge
  • Working whilst occupants are on-site, maintaining housekeeping and smooth relationships with residents and stakeholders.
  • Logistically complex, multi-floor site without lift access.
  • Rip out and installation of 48nr kitchens and 128nr bathrooms.
  • M&E works across 5 3-floor student blocks.
  • Avoid disruption to residents staying at the site.
  • Extensive planning and careful management of the project.
